Sociodrama - Dr. Ron Wiener
Ron is a sociodramatist, senior trainer and team facilitator who works as a change consultant and mentor to organisations, staff teams and individuals, primarily in the U.K. and Germany.
He co-leads a sociodrama diploma course in England and Russia. He is the author of "Creative Training" (JKP) and has produced many handbooks and training videos. He also works as a community artist and visioner designing large-scale projects.
Playback Theatre - Di Adderley
Di is a co-director of MPV/SAM and a graduate of the original School of Playback Theatre in the USA. She is a trainer in sociodrama, a psychodrama psychotherapist, clinical supervisor, coach, organisational trainer and actor. In 1992 she co-founded Playback Theatre Manchester (www.playbacktheatremanchester.co.uk) and also joined York Playback Theatre in the same year. Since then she has directed and acted in numerous playback performances and workshops across the UK and also in Turkey, Eire, Norway and Germany. In April 2007 she will be co-running a playback workshop at the ASGPP Conference (American Society for Group Psychotherapy and Psychodrama) in New York with Judy Swallow, a member of the original Playback Theatre company, begun in 1975 in the Hudson Valley, NY state.
Di's first career was as an actor in conventional stage and TV settings for over 20 years. She retrained as a psychodramatist in her early 40s and now works across the fields of drama, education and therapy on a freelance basis.
The summer school attracts participants from several countries and may include qualified practitioners, trainers (for whom it will be CPD), trainees and people who are new to these methods and who wish to have an in-depth introduction.
