Psychodrama Psychotherapist and Psychodrama trainer.

She works part time for the Isle of Man Child and Adolescent Mental Health Team with young people from four to sixteen years. She has worked as a trainer using action methods in different settings: police services, fire and rescue services, voluntary organisation and in the Health Service. Her PhD research was into the impact of working therapeutically with clients who have experienced sexual trauma as adults or children.

She currently works in Child & Adolescent Mental Health as psychodramatist psychotherapist with young people, families and other agencies. Her special interests are using psychodrama in Paediatric Liaison with young people who are physically ill and young people with Asperger’s Syndrome. Up until 2000, worked with adult and child patients with life threatening and terminal illness, their families and informal and formal carers, post diagnosis through to end phase of illness. She has been editor of the British Journal of Psychodrama and Sociodrama since 2002.
